Five Things I Want to Do to Save Money or Improve My Life

Reading posts from others inspires me to make changes to my own life. Here are some strategies I want to implement.

1. Stop drinking bottled water

2. Start shopping at thrift stores for specific items like maternity clothes

3. Buy a side of beef

4. Install a clothesline

5. Plant some tomatoes

I think I might consider getting a tomato plant too. Have you purchased your beef yet? How do you plan on storing it? Do you have a big freezer?

You can also get a quarter-beef. That stores nicely in a side-by-side freezer/fridge. Not much room left over for ice cream, though...

SavingDiva, I never did get the beef. This year I am planning on getting the tomatoes. I don't think I have any vacations planned until the end of summer, so I'm hoping I'll be able to care for the tomatoes.

Anon, thanks for the comment. I will look into get a quarter-beef, but now I'm on this health food kick and trying to reduce my consumption of red meat in general
