Being a pretty young individual, I have only had two full-time jobs in my life. My current job as a consultant and my prior job working for one of the largest banks in the country.
Currently I like my job. I don't love it, but I appreciate it. The work is interesting, I get to work with great people, I face challenges every day, and I enjoy traveling.
I cannot imagine having a job that I absolutely love. If you have a job like that, what do you do and why do you love it so much?

How do you feel about your job?

From my experience people who love their jobs are usually people who work in a field that they thought would be fun when they were a kid. No one can love their everything about their job all the time. But I think you can get close.
I believe work and love do not really mix. You need to detach yourself from your paycheck. I have seen people who sacraficed so much for a career they loved only to be let go due to funding or other problems.
It is far wiser to focus on a well paying job that you can perform well at - and leave your passions and causes to your volunteer hours.
I think I have to agree here with Jane Dough. I have a lot of friends who love what they do, but I haven't loved any job I've had. It's what I do to keep a roof over my head and I no longer look to work to give me great personal satisfaction. I have the rest of my life for that.
i second jane.
